Controller & Navigation
Aniki ReMake is designed to be used from a controller.
The bottom shortcut bar in the Library shows the most important actions, but this page explains what they do and where they lead.

Play a game
- Select a game.
- Press X when the Library shortcut bar shows Play.
The exact face-button labels shown by the theme depend on your selected controller icon style.
Open Game Details
- Select a game.
- Press A.
This opens the selected game's Details view.
Open Game Options
- Select a game.
- Press Y.
Game Options gives access to Playnite actions and extension actions.
This is also where Aniki Helper exposes per-game settings such as:
- Splash Screen timer;
- Overlay suspend exception;
- achievement-memory refresh;
- media-thumbnail actions.
Change layout
Hold Y.
This switches the supported Library layout.
Search
Press Left Stick (LS).
Open filters
Press Right Stick (RS) when the current view exposes the filter shortcut.
Open the Hub
Press the Hub shortcut shown in the Library shortcut bar.
In the standard layout this is displayed with the View/Back-style controller icon.
The Hub gives access to profile, library news, Store/News pages, media and configured Features & Apps.
Open Quick Access
Press Start / Menu.
Quick Access opens as a panel on the left.
It can contain:
- Profile
- Notifications
- Friends
- Achievements
- Extras
- News
- Steam Store
- Lock Screen
- Help and Support
- Settings
- Power

You have two easy methods.
From Quick Access
- Press Start / Menu.
- Move to Settings.
- Press A / Select.
Direct shortcut
Hold Start / Menu from the main interface.
Open Quick Options
Hold the Hub/View/Back shortcut shown by Aniki.
Quick Options opens the right-side Control Center.
Use LB / RB to switch sections such as:
- System
- Main view
- Details view
- Media
- Visual effects
- Achievements
- Audio
- Layout

For complete theme configuration, use Settings → Customization instead.
Change controller icon style
If Aniki shows Xbox buttons but you use another controller:
- Press Start / Menu.
- Open Settings.
- Open Customization.
- Open Appearance.
- Select Choose controller icon style.
- Pick the style that matches your controller.
Per-game Aniki Helper settings
Fullscreen
- Select the game in the Library.
- Press Y to open Game Options.
- Open the Extensions section.
- Open Aniki Helper.
- Choose the feature you want.
Desktop
- Find the game in Playnite Desktop.
- Right-click it.
- Open Aniki Helper.
- Choose the feature.
The exact actions depend on the feature and whether you are in Desktop or Fullscreen mode.
