Theme Customization

Theme Customization is the main place to change Aniki ReMake's visual presentation.

Open Theme Customization

From the Library or Hub:

1. Press Start / Menu.
2. Quick Access opens on the left.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Customization.
5. The Theme Customization window opens.

The categories on the left are:

• Appearance
• Interface
• Main View
• Details View
• Covers
• Backgrounds and Videos
• Achievements
• Aniki Helper Settings

Change the overall look

Open Appearance.

The three biggest visual changes are:

1. Choose theme color
2. Choose background visual pack
3. Choose details view layout

Start with those before changing dozens of individual switches.

Change the theme color

1. Open Appearance.
2. Select Choose theme color.
3. Pick a preset.
4. Return to the interface to judge it with your own game artwork.

Aniki includes many presets, including Dynamic Colors.

If you choose Dynamic Colors, see Dynamic Colors, News & Statistics for cache/preloading options.

Change the Visual Pack

1. Open Appearance.
2. Select Choose background visual pack.
3. Pick a pack.
4. If you want that pack to be used as the Library background source, also configure Backgrounds and Videos.

Selecting a Visual Pack and selecting the Library background source are two separate things.

Change the Game Details layout

1. Open Appearance.
2. Select Choose details view layout.
3. Choose Signature, Modern, Classic, Original, Showcase or Panel.
4. Return to the Library.
5. Open a game with A.
6. Try another layout if the information arrangement does not suit you.

You can change layouts without altering the actual game metadata.

Change font, avatar and controller icons

Still in Appearance you can change:

• login screen background;
• built-in avatar;
• font style;
• controller icon style;
• username;
• interface corner radius.

The Option Details panel on the right explains the currently focused setting.

Performance Mode

If the interface feels less responsive:

1. Open Appearance.
2. Enable Performance mode.
3. Return to the Library and test navigation.

Performance Mode disables most theme animations and visual effects.

If you want more control instead of disabling everything, see Library & Game Details and disable only the effects you do not need.

Open Aniki Helper from Fullscreen

At the bottom of the Theme Customization category list is Aniki Helper Settings.

Select it to open the controller-friendly Aniki Helper settings available in Fullscreen.

The Fullscreen page contains useful common options, but the complete Aniki Helper interface is in Desktop mode.
